A good investment in my opinion. The quality is at least as good as the Freud and other bits I have. I am new to woodworking and needed a set of plywood dado bits. I wanted a good set that I won't outgrow so I purchased these after finding them on Amazon. They come in a padded foam case for storage/transport.
plywood is no longer made in actual widths so when you need a tight fitting dado or groove, these CMT bits are the best. nothing beats having the exact cut size for today's modern plywood dimensions. great in a hand held router and in a router table.
I used the bit 3/4 once , and it was good ,time will tell tho.
That's because 1/2" plywood isn't 1/2" but is 31/64". The sizes are: 15/64" for 1/4", 31/64" for 1/2" and 23/32" for 3/4". Tired of sloppy fitting plywood shelving in dados. These are quality bits with a 1/2" shank that do the job they are meant for.
